I really enjoy these books and look forward to hear how Fireheart, and is nephew get along with their new clan of wild cats and grow as Warriors. We even have a elderly yellow cat that is grumpy and is keeping the two kitty pet kittens in check when they get excited and annoying to him. As I listen to the stories of the Warriors series I image all of these cats and how the resembles the cats in the stories. They watch with interest the two clans of black cats and the tiger striped cats and the lone blue ear cream colored cat that lives under our home. They have become kitty pets, having forgotten the first month of survival under the homes just down the road, and having to cross the Thunder path and avoid the roaring monsters and dogs that travel along the thunder path. I rescued two little black and white kittens off the street three months ago just down the road from us. But our home is their territory and they constantly defend it from the dark clan of black cats that live across the street. I have watched them grow to full size adults and they don’t trust two legs, even the ones feeding them.

I have a litter of four that were born under our home, and they scatter like a ghost is after them, when I set out a bowl to feed them. As a feline parent, I listen to this series and envision both the wild stray cats and kittens that have taken over our neighborhood and the kitty pets that we have adopted.
